A dryer that runs cold, dries slowly, or stops early is usually a heating element, thermostat, airflow
blockage, or a worn belt or drum roller. A dryer working twice as hard also costs you more to run — and
a lint-choked one is a safety risk. We find the real fault, quote a fixed price before any work, and get
it drying properly and safely again, with careful, quality workmanship behind it.
Faults We Fix
No heat — heating element or thermostat.
Takes too long / poor drying — blocked lint filter or venting, or a weak element.
Cuts out early — thermal cut-out, sensor, or airflow.
Not tumbling — drive belt, motor, or drum rollers.
Noisy — worn rollers, bearings, or belt.
Overheating — often airflow/lint — a genuine safety issue we take seriously.
Brands
Fisher & Paykel · Bosch · Miele · Simpson · Electrolux · Westinghouse · Samsung · LG · Smeg — and most
other major brands.

FAQs
Why is my dryer not heating? — Usually the heating element or thermostat. We diagnose the exact cause during the assessment and quote before any work.
Why is my dryer taking two cycles to dry? — Most often airflow — a blocked lint filter or vent — making it work harder. We'll check and fix it.
Is a lint-blocked dryer dangerous? — It can be — restricted airflow causes overheating. It's worth getting seen to. We're fully insured.
How much does a dryer repair cost? — An obligation-free assessment covers attendance and diagnosis; then you get a fixed quote before any further work.
How soon can you come? — Often the same week — call 0476 640 803. Open seven days.
Quick Checks Before You Call
Safe first checks — if they don't fix it, book an assessment.
Not heating / clothes still damp? Clean the lint filter every load and check the outside vent and ducting aren't blocked — restricted airflow is the most common cause and can trip the thermal fuse. If airflow is clear, it's usually the element or a thermostat.
Loud noise, squealing or rumbling? Often a worn drum belt, support rollers or bearings. Stop using it if the noise is grinding — running it causes more damage.
Runs but shuts off early? Overheating from poor airflow; clear the vent first, then book a repair.
No power at all? Check the outlet and circuit before booking.
